Aurora B.
A place for calm, style, and nature
Welcome to Aurora B.
Aurora B Luxury Lodge, an architect designed villa that combines modern design, high quality materials and a perfect location in the middle of Ruka. Here, style and function meet in a warm, inviting environment – just a few steps from the ski slopes and within walking distance to Ruka Village’s restaurants and shops.
The name is inspired by Aurora Borealis – the magic of the northern lights. The letter B represents Borealis, carrying light, energy, and transformation.
The villa has three cosy bedrooms with high quality beds that offer a good night’s sleep, a fully equipped kitchen for those who love to cook, and a bright living room with large panoramic windows facing the nature. The villa is equipped with comfortable floor heating. After a day on the mountain, the private spa area awaits with a sauna, wine cooler, and an outdoor jacuzzi for total relaxation.
Everything is prepared for a smooth stay. Bed linens and towels are always included, and you’ll also find a workspace if you want to combine free time with remote work. Two lift passes to Ruka’s lifts and gondola are included in your stay for an extra comfortable holiday.
Aurora is not about escaping life, but about slowing down to feel it again.
Between the forest and the village, 600 metres from Ruka’s lights but surrounded by silence, there is a rare balance between closeness and calm. Here, mornings linger, laughter carries softly through the air, and everything unnecessary falls away. It is not a resort, but not remote either. It is something more quiet, something more human.
Aurora is slow luxury for families and friends – a place where life and stillness meet.

A Letter from the Founder
I never set out to build Aurora. It began with a feeling — a calm that settled in the moment we arrived in Ruka.
Time slowed between the forest and the slopes. Snow fell softly. Mornings were bright, evenings warm with laughter. Life felt gentler — fuller somehow. A quiet kind of magic we hadn’t known we were missing.
We came here often, drawn by that feeling — the way stillness
brought us closer, the way the days unfolded without rush. Those moments became our rhythm, our reminder of what mattered.
And in that calm, something grew: a wish to share what we’d found — that rare balance between comfort and nature, connection and peace.
Today, Aurora stands where two worlds meet — close enough to walk
to Ruka’s restaurants, shops and gondola, yet surrounded by forest
and silence. You can step into life, or retreat into peace. Both are
near.
Aurora isn’t a resort, and it isn’t remote. It’s a place for togetherness, designed for slow mornings, glowing fires, and conversations that stretch long into the night.
That’s the magic I found here. And that’s the magic I hope you’ll feel too.
